- What is the current status of the Banner Finance Project?
- The Finance module went live July 1, 2006.
- How do I start up Banner7?
- You can launch Banner at the following URL: X:\BannerAccessBannerAccess.html. Follow the prompts. For more information, or if you need help visit http://banner.uncg.edu/inb/.
- What level of access do university users have?
- They will be able to enter requisitions, view activity, and move budgets (with limitations). This access will be limited to the funds that your organization is responsible for.
- I already have an account for Banner Student, will I need to have another account for the Finance module? Will my password change?
- No. The Banner account/username and password you are currently using will work after the changeover. If you need to reset your Banner password, do so via http://reset.uncg.edu. However, you may need to complete a Banner Finance Access form. This form and instructions can be found at http://its.uncg.edu/Accounts/Banner/#Finance.
- Now that we are live, is training available?
- Yes. Training sessions are ongoing. Check out this link for available courses and pre-requisites: https://utlc.uncg.edu/workshops/list_by_category.jsp?cat_id=77000520.
- How do I register for this training? Can you give me more details?
- Individuals seeking to register for workshops on Banner will need to follow the link provided on our Training page for a list of available workshop times and registration.
- What kind of on-line help will be available?
- Many of the departments will be providing their training documentation for online review. Several will have online tutorials available as well.
